REACH LA Back

Club Reel

This stirring short reel by Tomas Aguilar (in collaboration with REACH LA), meant to be projected in a nightclub setting, is a compelling outreach and appeal to youth to take control of their sexuality and health in the fight against HIV-AIDS. Incorporating music and rhythmic editing with image manipulations and graphics by Mariel Rivera, the reel is a striking example of media-as-tool for immediate social activism among young people of color.
