SoCal Connected in the works
As you know Life & Times came to a close last December after 16 award-winning years. And we have been working on its successor which we plan to debut this fall. SoCal Connected will be a prime-time local newsmagazine. We will still cover important southern California issues, people and culture but it will be in a fresh, updated format plus an enhanced website with plenty of resources and viewer interaction.
SoCal Connected will blend the best of California Connected and Life & Times. I'll be working with Bret Marcus, former Executive Producer of the award-winning California Connected.
It's sad to see Life & Times go. But we topped things off with three Golden Mike awards, including the one for best public affairs series. Our 7:00 PM time slot is filled with The Tavis Smiley Show.
Thanks to everyone for all your wonderful support and great feedback through the years. We'll see you in the fall.
